About PRDCEDU
The Puerto Rico – Washington D.C. Educational Alliance Foundation (PRDCEDU) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit connecting underserved youth in Puerto Rico and Washington, D.C. with educational, leadership, and cultural opportunities.
We are at the beginning of an exciting journey — building our programs, team, and systems from the ground up. We are looking for motivated people who want to be part of that journey and help shape the organization from the very beginning.
The Opportunity
We are recruiting our Founding Volunteer Leadership Team.

Age
Each volunteer leader will help develop an important area of the organization, working directly with the Executive Director and Board of Directors. You will have the opportunity to take ownership of projects, develop practical skills, and see your work become part of a growing nonprofit.
No previous nonprofit experience is required. We value initiative, reliability, curiosity, and a willingness to learn.
These are unpaid volunteer leadership positions.
Current Volunteer Leadership Opportunities
- Volunteer Director of Education & Programs — Help design and launch our bilingual educational programs for youth.
- Volunteer Director of Volunteers — Help recruit, welcome, organize, and support our growing volunteer team.
- Volunteer Director of Marketing & Communications — Help develop our message, website content, social media, and public presence.
- Volunteer Director of Development & Fundraising — Help identify fundraising opportunities, donor prospects, sponsorships, and community support.
- Volunteer Director of Finance & Accounting — Help organize budgets, financial records, and basic financial systems.
- Volunteer Program Coordinator — Help keep projects organized, track deadlines, and coordinate activities.
- Volunteer Technology Coordinator — Help manage our website, digital tools, Google Workspace, and other technology systems.
- Additional opportunities as we grow — Partnerships, Community Engagement, Events, Grant Writing, and other areas.
