Join Keep Newton Beautiful, GWF, friends, and neighbors at Longhorn Steakhouse of Covington at 9 a.m. on Saturday, September 19, for the Newton County Rivers Alive kickoff event. Participants can pick up free T-shirts, supplies, and breakfast (while supplies last). Then volunteers will pick up litter in and around lakes, rivers, and streams across the County. KNB invites you to organize your club, neighbors, church, business, or school groups to participate. Individual participants are also welcome.
