Volunteer Intern Lead / Mentor
Change Creators Foundation (CCF) is a growing nonprofit organization focused on creating opportunities for meaningful change that can impact individuals, families, communities, and future generations.
Our work is centered around education, prevention, community programming, and helping address patterns and experiences that can continue from one generation to the next. We believe meaningful change can happen at multiple levels, from supporting individuals, to working with groups and communities, to developing programs and systems that create a broader impact.
Remote
As CCF has grown, we have also become a nonclinical internship placement for BSW and MSW social work students. Our interns gain hands-on experience across micro, mezzo, and macro practice, including nonclinical support and education, community programming, group development, outreach, research, program development, nonprofit operations, organizational planning, and community partnerships.
We are currently looking for a mental health or helping professional who would be interested in volunteering approximately 4 to 5 hours per month as an Intern Lead/Mentor.
What You Would Do
This person would serve as an additional support and leadership presence for our interns. Depending on your experience and interests, this may include:
*Mentoring and supporting BSW and MSW interns
*Helping interns think through projects, challenges, and professional development
*Supporting interns as they develop leadership and professional skills
*Helping interns understand how their work connects to micro, mezzo, and macro practice
*Sharing your own professional, nonprofit, community, or leadership experience
*Providing an additional person interns can go to for guidance and support
*Collaborating with the Internship Program Director as the internship program continues to grow
This is not a clinical supervision role, and the overall internship program and social work-specific field requirements will continue to be overseen by an LCSW.
