• Work with the Programmes Team to draft concept notes and full grant proposals for institutional, trust and foundation donors.
• Research potential funding opportunities and review donor guidelines, eligibility criteria and application requirements.
• Conduct literature reviews to gather evidence, data and context that strengthen the case for WENDO's programmes.
• Help shape programme concepts, including objectives, activities, expected outcomes and budgets in collaboration with the team.
• Edit and proofread proposals to ensure they are clear, compelling and aligned with donor priorities.
• Help maintain a record of submitted applications, deadlines and donor feedback.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and spoken English, with strong editing and proofreading skills.
• Knowledge of donor requirements and how funding applications are structured.
• Experience in literature review, research and developing programme concepts, whether through academic work, internships or previous volunteering.
• A genuine interest in women's empowerment and girls' education.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and communicate well in a remote team.
• Recent graduates are strongly encouraged to apply. We value a willingness to learn over extensive experience.
