We are seeking dedicated Patient Companionship Volunteers to provide comfort, connection, and presence to patients in the Boerne area. This role is perfect for compassionate individuals who can commit their time and hearts to making a meaningful difference in someone’s life.
What Patient Companionship Looks Like
Volunteers offer non-medical support, including:
Friendly conversation and active listening
Reading aloud, playing games, or sharing music
Sitting quietly for comfort and reassurance
Providing emotional support and human connection
Sometimes the greatest gift is simply showing up.

Attend Orientation, Background Check, Driver’s License
Commitment Expectations
We are specifically looking for volunteers who can:
Commit to regular, ongoing visits
Be reliable, punctual, and consistent
Build trusting relationships with patients over time
