About the Walk

The Out of Darkness walk brings people together to support suicide prevention, honor loved ones, and remind each other that no one is alone.

It’s a space for connection, reflection, and showing up,for yourself or for others.

Why Volunteers Matter

This event happens because people choose to show up.

Not because they have all the answers—

but because they care.

Even a few hours can help create a space where someone feels seen, supported, and less alone.

No experience needed—just willingness to help.

  • Check-in and registration
  • Greeting and welcoming participants
