Board Commitment

Board service requires an initial two-year commitment.

During the early stage of institutional development, Board participation will generally involve quarterly meetings, organizational discussions, consultation, and occasional work between meetings. Some Board service may involve providing professional or subject-matter consultation related to the member's expertise.

As BAEHS grows, the scope and amount of Board work is expected to increase over time, with members taking on additional responsibilities as the organization's programs, research activities, fundraising, collaborations, and institutional operations expand.

This is a volunteer Board position. Prior nonprofit Board experience is welcome but is not required if you bring relevant expertise, professional experience, or a strong commitment to BAEHS's mission.

We are looking for individuals who are thoughtful, dependable, collaborative, and interested in helping build a scientifically rigorous and sustainable organization.

If you are interested in exploring Board service with BAEHS, please contact us to learn more about the opportunity.

Help us build an independent organization dedicated to understanding how environmental exposures affect human health.
