IMBY (In My Backyard) is a community-driven initiative focused on expanding creative housing solutions, especially Additional Dwelling Units (ADUs), to address local housing challenges in Wichita. IMBY brings neighbors, builders, community partners, and advocates together to explore how intentional housing design and collaborative action can unlock more accessible, affordable, and compassionate places to live.
The Volunteer Opportunity:
We are in an affordable housing crisis. Additional Dwelling Units (ADU) are a way to use the additional space you already have to create a home for your neighbors.
