District Attorney's Office - Student Volunteer

The 18th Judicial District Attorney’s Office is introducing a new student experience giving high school students an in-depth, behind-the-scenes look at how the criminal justice system works.

The Student Volunteer may complete tasks, such as:

• Supporting case examination efforts through clerical and supportive efforts with an opportunity to learn and participate in review of files under the supervision of DA's Office staff.
• Opportunities to observe internal trainings and/or court proceedings.
• Boxing, organizing, and scanning historical files.

This opportunity is anticipated to last for one semester and interested students should be aged 16 years or older. Volunteers under 18 must receive parent/guardian consent to participate.
