We are looking for someone to take charge of how we explain our work to the world. You would own our voice across social media, the website and our public materials, and help us reach the scientists, funders and policy audiences we need to be visible to.
Responsibilities
- Plan and produce content for LinkedIn and Instagram, including a regular explainer series
- Design graphics and slides in Canva, working to our existing brand guidelines
- Draft announcements, short articles and website updates
- Build and maintain a contact list for press and newsletter distribution
- Keep our website content accurate and current
- Track what performs and adjust accordingly

Details
- Clear, economical writing in English
- Confident with Canva or equivalent design tools; a good eye for consistency
- Familiar with LinkedIn and Instagram as professional channels, not just personal ones
- Able to take a technical subject and make it legible without making it inaccurate
- Experience in communications, marketing, journalism or design is welcome; a strong portfolio matters more than a job title
- An interest in conservation or science communication is welcome; sector experience is not required
